Call for Papers

The emergence of the Internet has provided a new context for interaction between religious groupings and individuals in modern society. Researchers, who are interested in the expanding field of religious communication on the Internet, are hereby invited to participate in a Conference that focuses on this subject area. Especially, we welcome papers that seek to build bridges between contemporary theories of religion and specific studies of religious usage(s) of conversational services on the Internet such as news groups, chat rooms, email, and interactive web applications. A provisional title and an abstract of your paper (approximately 200 words) should be submitted to the Conference Secretariat no later than 1 June 2001. For further information, please click here.
